Moving out of your private rented home - what you need to do

If you want to move out, you need to let us know. Most tenants must give one calendar month’s notice. If you have a weekly tenancy, you need to give at least four weeks’ notice before you leave.

You can give notice by:
• Emailing us at [email protected]
• Calling our Customer Contact Centre on 0800 432 0077
• Logging in to My Account and telling us online

If you don’t tell us you’re moving out, you’ll keep being charged rent. It could also make it harder for you to rent from us in the future.
